The A+ Program is a great way for Missouri students to pay for college! Students who complete all of the requirements of the A+ Program while in High School are eligible to take advantage of a full tuition benefit at a 2-year college (i.e. Mineral Area, Jefferson College, St. Louis Community College) and some technical schools throughout the state.

Student Requirements for the A+ Program:
- Have attended a designated A+ School for three consecutive years prior to high school graduation.
- Graduated from high school with an overall grade point average of 2.5 points or higher on a 4.0 scale.
- Score “PROFICIENT” on the Algebra I EOC or meet the following criteria:
- 17 or greater on ACT Math and 2.5 GPA or greater
- 16 or greater on ACT Math and 2.8 GPA or greater
- 15 or greater on ACT Math and 3.0 GPA or greater
- Have at least a 95% attendance record overall for grades nine through twelve (9-12).
- Performed 50 hours of unpaid tutoring or mentoring for younger students; 25% of these hours can be completed as job shadowing in a field of the student’s choice. Tutoring is completed during your Senior year, and it is a credit-bearing course.
- Maintained a record of good citizenship and avoidance of the unlawful use of drugs and/or alcohol.
- Students must complete the FAFSA prior to receiving A+ Funds.
- Male students must register with Selective Service at the age of 18
All you need to do is complete an A+ Program Agreement, and you are enrolled in the program!
